DJ Meren is a dance music producer who has been making music that makes clubbers shake their ass for years. He born 1984 in Waymar (Germany). Starting out as a DJ when he was 19 he has an eclectic background in music.. from HOUSE, BREAKz, BREAK-BEAT, and MELODIK TRANCE tracks that he loves to play today. He spent quite a few years of the decks and in the studio engineering, producing and remixing for all sorts of weird and wonderful people. The music was FREESTYLE there was a lot of feeling in it, and it was very hard to let that go. But later about 2001, the scene turned into BREAK-BEAT and so did he. In 2003 BREAKz music started hitting the clubs in Odessa, and he changed his style. 

STYLE- His style varies but stays in the same venue. His main sets are ELECTRO, HOUSE, BREAKz, BREAK-BEAT, and MELODIK TRANCE. He would like to be known as an original. He likes to make sets that are unique and solely to himself. He mixes things up and changes the sound of the original music, (by eq or flange, etc.), so that it sounds like something new and not one record to another. He also tries to get involved with the crowd when possible, to show them that he's not just sitting back and playing record to record. Every time he spins, he gives it 100%...

In autumn 2005 Sasha officially to come to D.J. under the pseudonym MeRen. To take part in rating system TOPDJ.COM.UA conducted for “Virus Production” and radio station KissFM. Member of an world-wide rating system THE DJ LIST.

01. Where is the piano-melody from? 

This melody is completely written by us. 

02. What gear do you use for producing music DJ-ing? 

Hardware: PC (Athlon 64 - 3200+, 2048Mb DIMM, 400GB HDD, PCI Audio 7.1) Software: Cubase SX3, Sound Forge 9, PG-AudioMeter + various VSTs & DX effects. 

03. What music do you prefer listening when you are at home? 

Electronic music, mainly Electro, House, Breakz and Melodic Trance. Besides that we also enjoy listening to quality pop and rock. 

04. When did the Electro music start to interest you? 

Back in 2006 when I listened to an Electro DJ-set

06. Who is doing what during the producing? 

Both of us prefer producing by ourselves at home, then we blend eachothers composed elements. 

07. How long does it take you to finish a track? 

Thats a really hard question. D.J.Meren – Good Love was made in six hours, while D.J.Meren – Electro Energy 2007 was made in three days. Some tracks are even not finished yet  

08. What is more challenging, to make an own track or a remix? 

Its usually harder to make an original track. 

09. Tell me some words about your future plans! 

We have a lot of optimistic plans, thats all we can say
